“As If” is a monthly segment on this blog in which I provide personal anecdotes on experiences I’m having in my life and share my thoughts on conversational topics that are currently happening or should be happening. 

The phrase “As If” solidified its place in pop culture after the popular nineties coming-of-age film Clueless premiered. It’s a sassy way of saying “yeah right!” or “as if that were true” according to Urban Dictionary. As a girl who loves all things fabulous including cute catch phrases, I’ve naturally incorporated this phrase into everyday conversation. 

I also thought it would be a cute idea to use it as a way to add contrast and have some fun in my writing.
